Erick Ruiz Lugo
1990, Mexico City.

Visual artist and curator with a focus on contemporary art, community-based practices, and the decentralization of the art circuit. My work is based in the southeastern region of Mexico City, where I design and carry out cultural projects and exhibitions that interweave art, community and politics. I am interested in curatorship as a situated and critical practice, understood as a form of cultural mediation and a tool for social transformation.
